Educational Offerings

Beekeeping is always more fun with a bee buddy!  We offer mentorships for new beekeepers who are looking for guidance with their inspections or somebody to bounce questions off.  You know the saying "if you ask 3 beekeepers the same question, you'll get 6 answers!"

Sometimes things just aren't working out  or you need an extra set of eyes.  We offer apiary visits to help streamline your process or diagnose problems within the hive.  We are also available remotely.

Unexpected residents in the form of bees aren't always welcomed.  We offer removal and relocation services and can also help with moving managed beehives off your property.

Meeting other beekeepers is one of our favorite things about beekeeping!  We welcome the opportunity to present to your club, whether it be a beekeeping class, about pheromones, honey tastings, splits - you name it!

Our focus is on being a bridge between the pollinators and the public.  The urban landscape is the largest expanding landscapes.   We are losing woodlands and pastures, turning them into urban yards while displacing wildlife and creating a desert for pollinators.  When it comes to helping pollinators thrive, it's a collective effort.  We'd love to talk about action steps we can all take - big and small!

Discovery Day? Celebrating Pollinator Week?  4-H class?  We're here for it all!  The younger generation is our favorite to work with.  Their bright and inquisitive minds keep us on our toes and thinking outside the box.
